Welcome the fabulous new collection by Katja Ollendorff!

Katja is a textile designer with a passion for bold color and pattern. She currently lives in San Francisco, but grew up living and traveling extensively overseas. From Helsinki to Paris, Rio to Istanbul—the many sights and places she has explored have contributed to her worldly sensibility and endless need to see more. Gleaning inspiration from these distant places—as well as from her own backyard in the Bay Area—has helped her designs exude a folky, yet modern feel with mass appeal.

From her vast portfolio of patterns and designs we selected a few that work really well for bedrooms and gill give your headboard a punch of color and vibrancy. Walk through the Seasons with Katja and NOYO, for spring where it is about rebirth and fresh beginnings, check out Eucalyptus and Palm.

Moving into Summer, how about a cheery Floral Stripe or folky Scandi?

Come Fall with dropping temperatures, turn up the warmth and coziness inside with Seaweed and Swirl.

And with the first signs of winter, bring serenity and calm into your bedroom with Argentina and Twig.

Working in a variety of mediums from pen & ink, gouache and watercolor to Photoshop and Illustrator gives her designs great range and versatility. She has been featured on several design blogs and her artwork has been licensed with companies both in the United States as well as Europe.

Welcome Katja and Enjoy the Season!

Meet the Sassy Solids collection!

There is no denying it – we love patterns and bold colors! So when customers asked me to create some solid color headboards I happily accepted the challenge. I can do solids, but solids with attitude!

So the Sassy Solids collection was born. Sassy stands for lively, bold, full of spirit, and cheeky – perfect!

I selected some beautiful colors from the Pantone rainbow and paired them with wonderful and rich textures, such as knit, fur, wood, leather, feathers and roses.

The result are solid color designs with depth and character.

I love them and hope you will too. I am proposing a handful of designs to start, but any combination of texture and color is possible, and I am happy to create your very own version, just let me know what you fancy!

Meet Jessica Swift, a fearless Portland, OR girl with a warm smile and a thing for color.

As a full-time artist, surface pattern designer, and writer, Jessica is on a quest to inspire everyone on the planet to pursue their wild + colorful dreams… and never give up! Her magically uplifting and colorful artwork is licensed by companies and manufacturers for iPhone cases, fabric, stationery, and much more. Her art and products are designed to serve as tokens of happiness — reminders that you need (and deserve) to feel GOOD in your life. And I am proud to introduce Jessica Swift designs on NOYO headboards. Let her color your world, and yes, let’s start with your bedroom.

Her wild and colorful creations speak to kids and grown ups alike and we have created two collections, one for kids and one for all the young at heart and fearless color enthusiasts out there. Check out above Mosaic design, my secret favorite!

How about this for a lovely girls room? Love is in the air when pastel Love Balloons take flight.

Maybe a deeper look at the friendly seas with all the Ocean Fish in it will do it for an aspiring Marine Biologist (like my son Frederik!).

Jessica is a woman of many talents, her first book (co-written with creative career coach Michelle Ward), The Declaration of You, was published in June 2013. She lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and two adorable cats, and you can find her colorfully creating and blogging online at JessicaSwift.com.

Make sure to check out Jessica’s collection of bold and fabulous NOYO headboards. May they bring you wild and colorful dreams!
